The revamped Kasterlinden-de Poolster campus was presented with the Publieksprijs of the Brussels-Horta Awards 2016. This biennial award ceremony celebrates remarkable architectural projects in the Brussels-Capital Region. The new campus was nominated in the category 'Private or Public Utility Building'.
The revamped Kasterlinden-de Poolster campus in Sint-Agatha-Berchem, a green campus for children with (learning) disabilities, opened its doors with great fanfare in October 2015. So far, this construction project has been the largest investment in the VGC’s history!
The new campus was built to a design of POLO Architects, in collaboration with BOB 361 Architects.
